The candlestick is made of bronze and demonstrates the high level of metalworking craftsmanship of the medieval period. The top part has five projections and is shaped like a flat plate, with a circular recess in the middle for a candle. The upper part is decorated with plant-like or geometric recessed designs in a decorative style.
Such items were commonly used in religious rituals, temples, or in the domestic life of wealthy people. The object is patinated. It was accidentally discovered in the Green Bazaar area of the city of Taraz.
