The jug is made of sand-colored terracotta, with a narrow neck and a loop-shaped handle. The body is decorated with bands and triangular patterns. The neck is shaped like a bird’s beak with a very narrow opening. The legs of the jug imitate animal paws.
It was accidentally discovered during construction work in the Shu District and purchased from a resident of Taraz, A. Aidaralieva.
