Pile carpet

Description

Kyzylorda region. A central field of rectangular shape with a red background. Ornamented with four large rosettes (shatyrgul) featuring the patterns “tyshkanizi” and “quzisi” inscribed within them. In the space between the rosettes are diamonds with inscribed patterns “tumarsha.” Between the narrow borders are patterns “ittaban” and “ashamay.” The wide border is adorned with patterns “omyrtka,” “sharshy,” “tis,” and “ashamay.” On both sides along the length, there is a brown non-pile edge. In width – a fringe made of twisted woolen threads.
