Description

The stone mold was used in metallurgy for casting.
The mold is made of a dense rectangular stone slab with several circular depressions. There are four large depressions and one small depression in the center. These depressions served as casting cells, where molten metal (bronze or copper) was poured to create jewelry, badges, or small utilitarian items.
The surface shows signs of use and damage, including cracks and chips that have formed over time. The difference in the size of the depressions indicates that several types of products could be produced in one mold.
Such findings are important archaeological evidence of a developed level of metallurgy and craft production. The stone molds show that the process of producing metal objects was well-established and had both a domestic and a religious purpose.
