Description

Kimeshek is a traditional headdress worn by married Kazakh women.
The main fabric is white, symbolizing purity and modesty.
The upper part of the kimeshek fits snugly around the head and flows smoothly down to the shoulders and chest.
A decorative element with brown embroidery in the form of floral patterns is located around the circumference, framed by fringe.
The embroidery serves not only an aesthetic function but also carries symbolic meaning, as traditional patterns were believed to be protective amulets.
This version of the kimeshek emphasizes the woman’s solemnity and status.
