1 ruble coin of the Russian Empire.
Obverse: in the center is a portrait of Emperor Nicholas II in profile, facing left. On the left are relief inscriptions “B. M. NICHOLAS II the EMPEROR”, and on the right – “and the SOVEREIGN of ALL RUSSIA”.Often there are relief elements made in the form of teeth around the edge.
Reverse: the small State Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire-with two crowns on their heads and a double-headed eagle with a large crown above them on the third.On the eagle’s chest is the coat of arms of Moscow with the image of St. George the Victorious with a spear beating a dragon. Around the shield under the coat of arms of St. Andrew the First-Called there is a semi-silver naminal – “RUBLE” and the Year of issue -“1898”.
