The banknote is green in color, there are inscriptions on the obverse of the banknote: the face value in numbers and in words, the coat of arms of the USSR, on the left side there are two Soviet soldiers in helmets with a Mosin rifle and the date of issue 1938.
On the reverse: the nominal value in numbers and in words in the official languages of 11 republics of the USSR.
