Description
The second half of the 19th century
A type of kitchen furniture of the Kazakh people. The lid of the rectangular chest is located on the front surface. The lid is mounted on two hinges and is fixed with a wooden latch for opening and closing. The front surface is decorated with patterned plates made of animal bones, and two patterned cast square metal plates are installed.
D. Kanatbekova donated it to the museum in 1977.

Length - 60 cm, width - 34 cm, height - 70 cm
Condition
The frame is not destroyed, the shape is not broken. Surface: Scuffs, darkening and fading are observed, probably due to time and environmental influences. The hinges and door fasteners are in place, but there may be rust or plaque. The handle at the bottom looks bent or deformed. The metal linings and patterns are partially erased, but still visible.
