Description

Dated to the 5th-4th centuries BCE.
Both edges of the dagger are sharp, and its cross-section is diamond-shaped. The end of the hilt is massive, with rounded edges. A relief image of an animal’s face, resembling a wolf, is depicted on the surface. The guard is shaped like a butterfly.
Place of discovery: Zhetysu region.
Length - 30 cm, tip length - 5 cm, guard length - 6 cm, blade width - 2.5 cm.

Condition

The blade is worn and shows signs of oxidation, but its shape and structure remain fully intact.
