Description
Kübi is a wooden container made from oak, traditionally used for churning fermented milk (irkit) or preparing fermented beverages like közhe. Its mouth is narrower than its base, making it wider at the bottom. It was mostly used in settled households.
The kübi is assembled from long, narrow wooden planks, held together by two metal rings. It also comes with a wooden churning stick (pispék) used to stir or churn the contents.
