Description
One of the traditional protective tools of a Kazakh warrior. The base is made from solid wood. The surface is covered with metal. The metal parts are shaped as circular rings, and in the center there is a reinforced metal circle - the “knot” of the shield. The metal components are fastened with rivets. This strengthens the structure and also adds decorative value.
The shield was designed to protect the warrior from blows of spears, swords, and arrows. Its metal covering and reinforced center made it a reliable defensive tool in battle.
