Watermark – alternating light and dark five-pointed stars.
Obverse: features a left-facing bas-relief portrait of V. I. Lenin, with both written and numerical denominations of the banknote. The coat of arms displays 15 ribbons symbolizing the Soviet republics. In the white coupon field, the denomination and the year “1961” are indicated.
Reverse: the denomination is inscribed in 15 languages of the Soviet republics, along with the series and serial number. The numerical denomination is placed in the central field, with an additional figure located in the lower left white field.
