Sculptural composition

Description

The sculptural composition consists of 5 parts: “Motherland” (“Rodina-Mother”). Height - 1.23 m, width of the pedestal - 55 cm, height of the composition - 1.05 m. The composition is represented as a figure of a mother holding a child in her arms, symbolizing virtue and peace. The main composition consists of 4 themes: 1) “Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan” represented by sculptures of people of different nationalities. The Kazakh people is represented by a youth holding a shanyrak in his hands, under the arch that follows their people. The composition is located in the center of the pedestal. 2) To the left is the composition “Representatives of World and Traditional Religions”. Representatives of various faiths, from left to right – Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, are looking upwards, emphasizing the truth that “religions are different, God is one”. The height of the composition is 112 cm. 3) To the right from the center, there is the composition “Youth striving for knowledge and future”. It depicts young people, keenly looking at the books – the source of knowledge. In the center is the figure of a girl holding a book in Kazakh, to her left a boy reading a book in English, to the right a boy reading a book in Russian.
