Officer’s saber
Bulgaria, early 20th century (1903)
The exhibit is an officer’s saber made in Bulgaria at the beginning of the 20th century. The saber is made at the factory, the blade is straight with a metal sheath, the handle is decorated with a protective shackle. Such sabers were used by officers as a cold weapon and an element of a ceremonial uniform.
