The front side of the banknote is green-gray. On the right side is a portrait of the folk poet Suyinbai Aronuly. His name and years of life are written vertically in green ink. A Kazakh national ornament is placed at the bottom left of the portrait. An ornamental design is also located beneath the denomination in the lower-left corner.
The reverse side of the banknote is green, featuring a view of the Alatau Mountains in the center.
