An oval-shaped item, primarily made of wood. The diameter of the top edge is 3 cm, height — 8 cm, and base diameter — 4 cm. The central rotating part is made of metal, and the handle is fixed with iron fastenings. Circular patterns are located on the upper, lower, and middle parts of the grinder’s body. The item is painted yellow. According to available information, this pepper grinder was used by the family of the renowned scholar, ethnographer, and traveler Chokan Chingisovich Valikhanov.
