Description
It is made of white fabric and has an elongated shape that completely covers the head, neck, chest, and shoulders. The upper part fits tightly around the head, while the lower, wider part falls freely downwards.
The main decorative element is located along the edge of the front neckline. This area is adorned with an embroidered pattern using brown and beige threads.
The pattern is elongated in the form of a narrow longitudinal stripe that runs along the entire neckline, creating a frame. There are floral motifs inside the strip - stylized branches and japyraktarizdi (leaf-like) figures.
The combination of neutral shades of threads (konyr, ashyk sargysh) gives kimeshek a restrained, elegant character. The ornament is arranged symmetrically, which creates a harmonious and collected impression.
Such motifs had not only a decorative, but also a symbolic meaning - өсімдік өрнегі (vegetable ornament) personified berekeni, ұрпақ жалғастығын (prosperity and continuation of the family).
