Honorary Badge “First Discoverer of Kazakhstan’s Deposit”

Description

Honorary badge “First Discoverer of a Mineral Deposit of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” “Первооткрыватель месторождения РК,” awarded to Pyatov Evgeny Alexandrovich. The badge is made of yellow metal (brass).
On the front side of the medal (obverse), at the center of the circle, is depicted a map of Kazakhstan featuring symbols of the labor of geologists: a drilling rig and crossed geological hammers. On the reverse side of the medal (reverse), there is a relief inscription in four lines reading “Қазақстан Республикасының кен орнын алғаш ашушы,” with letter sizes of 2.0*1.5 mm. Along the edge of the medal, there is a rim on both sides with a width of 0.8 mm and a height of 0.5 mm. The edge of the medal is smooth. The medal is attached to a rectangular ribbon bar, measuring 25 mm in width and 15 mm in height, made of yellow metal (brass) and covered with a turquoise moiré ribbon. On the reverse side of the ribbon bar, there is a pin with a double lock.
