Bronze candlestick

A domestic and/or religious item used for placing candles. It demonstrates a high level of metalworking craftsmanship from the medieval period. The upper part of the bronze candlestick is decorated with engraved patterns, either plant-based or geometric in style. The patterns are symmetrical and arranged in a circular manner. The base also features openwork (perforation) techniques.
Material: Bronze.
Date: 10th-12th centuries.
