Description

Korasmak is a special item made of thick tanned leather for carrying bows and arrows. The outer surface is adorned with Kazakh ornamentation and painted pink, remnants of which have partially survived. Along the edge of the item, decorative elements made of white metal are attached: 23 rectangular convex patterns, each 1 cm long, alternating with teardrop-shaped metal insets. The item is masterfully crafted by the artisan A. Ikhanov. The total length of the arrow is 77 cm. The armor-piercing tip is made of iron, sharpened on both sides, and the length of the tip is 4.5 cm. A bird feather measuring 14 cm is attached to the rear of the arrow.
