Description
A balbal stone is a monument carved from a large elongated rectangular stone, depicting the figure of a standing person. Such stone sculptures were widely distributed during the era of the ancient Turks. The front surface of the balbal stone is polished, and the sculpture depicts a man in shoulder armor, with a belt to which a sword is attached, and a cup in one hand. This artifact was discovered at the foot of Mount Koktobe, in the area of the rivers Zhilubulak and Lepse.
