Description
Balbal stone – a monument in the form of a human, carved from a large mountain stone of elongated rectangular shape. It is often found from ancient Turkic times. The statue depicts a man wearing shoulder armor and a belt, from which a sword hangs, holding a cup in one hand. It was discovered at the foot of Mount Koktobe, near the rivers Zhylybulaq and Lepsy.
