An iron is a household appliance used for smoothing wrinkles and creases in clothing. The body, hollow inside, has a rectangular shape up to the midpoint and then transitions into a triangular form toward the front. Along the lower part of the side walls of the body, five ventilation holes are made on each side.
The hinged lid, with solid-cast supports and a wooden handle attached on top, features large serrated edges. The lid is secured to the body by a movably attached hook.
