A high-shaped chest

A high-shaped chest with two hinges. In the lower part of the lid, there is a strip for the lock. The chest is covered with dark green and yellow fabric, adorned with embroidery in threads. On the front side, the embroidery on the yellow fabric is done with smooth stitches in green and red threads. The ornament consists of borders and a central composition; at the center, elements of diamonds are placed. Inside each diamond, elements of the “қос мүйіз” (“double horn”) ornament are arranged in a cross shape. Nine tassels (three in each group) made from wool threads of black, burgundy, and red colors are sewn onto the upper part of the lid. Loop-shaped handles are positioned on the sides of the chest.
