Tomaga is a cap (eyecup) for a golden eagle.
Its shape resembles a bird’s foot. Oval protrusions where the eyes would have been obscured. A loop at the front secures the cap to the bird’s head. The base is decorated on the outside with two small zigzag metal plates.
