Mammoth jaw, lower

Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore

The mammoth’s lower jaw is almost completely preserved, including two molars. The coronoid process on the right branch of the jaw is broken off. The chewing surfaces of the teeth are slightly concave.
Dating: Upper anthropogenic.
Material: bone.
Technique: fossilization.
Size: 45,3х41,9х33,5 cm.
