Description
This artifact describes the domestic culture, technical development, and everyday life of the inhabitants of cities and villages in the late 20th century. This factory device, which replaced traditional wooden barrels, significantly eases and saves time in processing animal products (cream, sour cream) at home.
The artifact is cylindrical in shape, with a slightly narrowed lower edge, made of light yellow (yellowish-cream) plastic. The upper part of the body features embossed vertical lines (marks) indicating the level or size.
The lid of the device screws on, with special rotating blades (knives) for whipping cream and making butter fixed on its inner side. Alongside the lid is a metal handle (manipulator) with a black plastic grip, connected to a gear mechanism.
Date: second half of the 20th century (1970-1980s), Soviet era.
