Description

The composition is executed with a complex semantic subtext. A man in a spacesuit sits on an ordinary chair, but his figure is tense, leaning against the edge of the chair, with arms spread wide in an attempt to overcome the invisible pull. His face, with closed eyes, reveals an inner resistance, either to circumstances or to the impossibility of breaking the chains of materiality, the force of earthly and mundane attraction.
