Cross of St. George 4th degree.
The Cross of St. George is one of the highest combat awards of the Russian Empire. The cross, cast from metal, is made in an equal-crank quadrangular shape. On the front face, in the center, there is a figure of St. George the horseman stabbing a dragon with a spear. The rank and serial number of the award are engraved on the back surface. A black and pink striped St. George ribbon is worn on the cross. In reverse ” 4th degree.”, With the number 551718, the 41st shooter of the Siberian Rifle Regiment Ivan Ermolaev was awarded.
