Medal “For Military Merit”

Description

The obverse features the raised inscription “USSR” in the upper part, covered with ruby-red enamel. In the center is the raised inscription “For Battle Merit”, beneath which are depicted a crossed rifle with a fixed bayonet and a sabre. The reverse is plain. The medal is suspended by a ring and loop from a pentagonal mount covered with a gray silk moiré ribbon.
