Description

A textile item featuring decorative embroidery and lace, created through traditional weaving and handcraft techniques. Commonly used in interior decoration as decorative panels, tablecloths, curtains (tulle), bed linens (pillows, bedspreads), napkins, and glass coasters. Embroidered weaving is a form of decorative and folk applied arts.

The towel is made of linen fabric. Traditional dimensions: width - 30-40 cm, length - 2 meters or more. Crafted from white cloth, with both ends adorned with embroidery and woven lace. The embroidery features a stylized geometric pattern in red and black threads, executed using the “chain stitch” technique. Finished with textile lace.

This item was used by A. E. Shuleshova, a participant in the defense of Cherkassk.
