Order on the Temporary Appointment of the Head of the District Department of Education

This exhibit is an official extract from an administrative order issued on October 12, 1950, by the Zhilokosin District Department of Public Education. The document records that the head of the district education department was sent on an official business trip to Guryev at the request of the Regional Department of Public Education. During his absence, the duties of the department head were temporarily assigned to S. Karabalin, Chairman of the District Teachers’ Trade Union Committee, together with responsibility for the department’s official seal and stamp. The document was produced by typewritten printing and authenticated with an official signature and institutional seal. It is an important historical source illustrating the administrative practices, personnel management, and record-keeping procedures of the Soviet educational system in the mid-twentieth century.
