Today in Almaty, the Senate Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Social-Cultural Development and Science held an off-site meeting on the topic “Current Issues and Opportunities in the Modern Museum Sector.”
During the meeting, issues related to the modernization of the material and technical base of museums, the development of research and exhibition activities, the improvement of digitization processes, and the strengthening of human resources were discussed.
As part of the event, committee members visited the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where they became acquainted with the institution’s research work, collection, and exhibition activities. Museum staff presented their proposals for digitization, the implementation of multimedia technologies, and the expansion of international cooperation.
