An urban landscape with deep perspective - the street recedes into the distance, toward the foot of a large dark-ochre mountain massif occupying the upper part of the sheet. On both sides of the street are low urban buildings in light, ochre, and white tones; telegraph poles with wires cross the sky. On the street is the silhouette of a vehicle, and sparse figures of passers-by rendered in a generalized manner. The manner of execution is graphic - built on vigorous colored pastel hatching, with open, decorative color and a generalized treatment of architectural forms.
