Author: Dzhusupov, Ali. 1928-1976
A genre composition depicting a seated woman in a white kimeshek, next to whom sits a child in red clothing. In the foreground, a boy on a carpet is absorbed in reading a book. The space is organized by a bordered carpet, contrasting with the woman’s deep blue dress. The colour scheme establishes a balanced composition with a clear spatial hierarchy of figures. The work continues the genre painting tradition of depicting scenes of everyday life and generational continuity. Bottom left - signature and date.
