Trees in Autumn Attire

Description

Author: Dzhusupov, Ali. 1928-1976
A landscape depicting trees against a backdrop of urban buildings. The composition is built on rich coloristic contrast - the large decorative tree crowns are rendered in dense patches of color. In the background, the silhouettes of light-toned buildings can be discerned. The painterly manner is characterized by broad brushstrokes and a generalized treatment of form; color dominates over detail, creating the effect of a vivid, autumnal mood. Bottom left - signature and date.
