Landscape

Description

Author: Zavizionny, Gennadiy. 1938-2013
An expressive, decorative landscape. Dense, blue-green tree crowns are rendered in large, generalized masses. The background is conceived as a saturated red-orange space, painted with fragmented, energetic brushstrokes. The painting features rich impasto, relying on coloristic and textural contrasts. At the lower right - signature.
