An industrial landscape composition depicting the harvest season in the Virgin Lands. The space is conceived as a sweeping panorama with a high horizon line: nearly the entire foreground is occupied by a field of ripe wheat, with a combine harvester carrying two operators positioned on the right as the focal point of the scene. The middle ground reveals shelterbelts, structures, and the vertical silhouette of a grain elevator, flanked by gently sloping hills that bound the space. The color palette is dominated by the warm, ochre-golden tones of the wheat field, balanced by the green of the plantings and the cool blue of the distant mountains and sky. The panoramic composition, the meticulous rendering of aerial perspective, and the detailed, realistic painting style align the work with the tradition of the Soviet thematic landscape, poeticizing agricultural labor and the abundance of the steppe.
