Portrait of Shaken Aymanov

Description

Author: Lednev, Viktor. 1931-2005
Rendered in a realist manner with a generalized modeling of form and a saturated color palette, this portrait is set in an interior. A man is depicted seated in an armchair with his legs crossed, directing his gaze toward the viewer. He holds glasses in his right hand and a cigarette in his left, dressed in a light suit and a pink shirt. In the lower left, a small table holds a vase of red roses, flanked above by posters featuring portrait images. The color scheme builds on a harmonious contrast of the suit’s light tones with the warm greenish-ochre hues of the interior and the vivid red accents of the roses, creating a clear and balanced composition.
