A multi-figure genre composition centered on the theme of traditional Kazakh lifestyle. Set against the lattice frame of a yurt (kerege), through which the soft silhouettes of distant mountains are visible, a group of people is gathered around a broad dastarkhan. On the left, four men create a lively musical atmosphere: one sings, another plays the dombra, a third sips tea from a bowl (piala), while the fourth smiles, engaging in the festive mood. Before them, treats are spread across a low table (zhozy). To the right sits a woman wearing a traditional kimeshek, with a child laid at her side. The restrained color scheme balances muted blue-grey and ochre-brown tones punctuated by light clothing accents. Composition is complemented by a decorative, generalized treatment of form.
