A composition incorporating collage elements. The upper section depicts three headportraits wearing headgear, their faces rendered as stylized color masks without detailed facial features. Below, drawn in profile with blue contours, sit three traditional malakhai fur caps. Occupying the center of the lower section is a stool topped by three red cherries attached by their stems to a single branch. Affixed to the canvas on either side are sheets of paper featuring pencil sketches - figures, animals, and landscape studies. The fusion of the painted layer with these attached preparatory studies turns the work into a personal repository of artistic motifs. Forms are stripped to their bare essences through extreme generalization, while the spatial environment remains purely symbolic and devoid of depth.
