The Big Ski Jump

Description

Author: Ostrenko, Ivan. 1927-2007
The work harmoniously bridges a winter landscape with a sporting narrative, capturing a ski jumper at the peak of a dynamic mid-air leap. As the ski run plunges downward, it conveys a palpable sense of exhilarating speed and height. To the right, figures ascend a staircase, while snow-dusted hills beneath a muted grey winter sky in the background evoke the crisp, invigorating atmosphere of a frosty competition day.
