House-Museum of Song Creativity named after Mayra Shamsutdinova
In order to promote Mayra's singing art to the people, on January 30, 2001, the Mayra Shamsutdinova Song-Art Creative Museum House was opened as a branch of the regional historical and local history museum named after G. N. Potanin. The building of Abdul Fatah Ramazanov, a well-known merchant of the early 20th century, built in 1900. This building is currently considered an architectural monument.
The main goal of the Mayra Shamsutdinova Music and Art Museum House is to provide new information and in-depth research on Mayra's life and work. Introducing visitors to the museum about the life and work of composer Mayra Shamsutdinova, one of the famous singers of the 20th century. The Mayra Shamsutdinova Music and Art Museum House hosts creative evenings of well-known composers, poets and writers from our region.
The museum consists of two exhibition halls. The exposition shows photos and documents showing the life and work of Maira. Items used by Mayra Shamsutdinova in her life are displayed. Photo documents and household items of Mayra's contemporaries are shown.
Mayra Valivyna Shamsutdinova is a noble girl of our people from the Irtysh region, one of the stars of the singing art, a very talented singer-composer.
Mayra Valivyna Shamsutdinova was born in 1890 in Irtysh. His father was a Tatar Wali, and his mother was a Kazakh Katira. He devoted himself to singing since the age of 13. He sang the song with a trumpet. Mayra performed her art at Bayanaul, Kereku, Koyandy fairs together with singer-poet Isa Baizakov and famous singer Amire Kashaubav.
The well-known musician, ethnographer, folklorist Aleksandr Viktorovich Zataevich recorded 13 songs performed by Myra. It is "Mayra", "Irtys", "Kyzyl Gulen", "Tolkyma", "Makpal", "Bakhsha", "Kokmaysa", "Kargamau", "Karakoz", "Bayanaul", "Telkonur", "Song of the field", He is the author of "Kurbym zhai", "Alkaragay kuk", "Kusni kurdas" and other popular songs. Myra's performance and compositional creativity further developed the singing tradition of Sary-Arka. Maira is one of the Kazakh women who broke away from old customs and mastered her art at a professional level.
