Shcherbaktinsky Historical and Local Lore Museum

Culture, archives and documentation department of Pavlodar region "G. N. Pavlodar regional historical and local history museum named after Potanin" is a branch of the Sharbak historical and local history museum of the communal state treasury enterprise.

The Sharbakti historical and local history museum was established on the basis of the decision of the akim of the Sharbakti district No. 1-131 dated September 6, 1996. It opened its doors on January 1, 2000.

The museum has 5 halls (one exhibition and four exposition halls).

Creation of Sharbakti district, which is shown in exhibition halls with information cards and photo documents; with the material and spiritual characteristics of the rooted and immigrated people; The history of the development of Sharbakti village, its famous people, "Pobeda", "Abay", "Bolashak" LLP, "Karashash" LLC, "Irtys Ormany" forest reserve, the sad history of those who migrated to Kazakhstan - the years of political exile; N.A.'s role in the formation of the state sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the formation of an independent democratic state with the work of the peasants during the war years in the rear and in Victory, with the development of agriculture and production during the years of development of virgin and fallow lands. In the museum, overview and thematic excursions, lectures and events are held in the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​for visitors of all categories.

On January 1, 2016, the museum fund made up 5706 units, including the main fund - 3536 units. Among them there are very rare relics: women's clothing of the Voronezh province of the 19th century, a dombra of the master Aubakirov Uakhit, a loom of the beginning of the 19th century, etc.

Mass education activities are aimed at fostering the patriotic love of young people for the motherland, the native land, strengthening stability and harmony among the different nationalities living in the territory of the district, and introducing famous people of Sharbakti district: classes and excursions, lectures, meeting evenings in cooperation with secondary schools, agrarian- organized by technical college and public associations.

The publishing service is of great importance. The museum published albums and booklets "Participants of the Great Patriotic War of the Shcherbaktinsky district", "Paths of our history", "Visitnaya card of the district", "The district - in which we live", "Scherbaktinsky historical and local museum", "My celina".

Presentations, lectures of museums of Pavlodar region; there is an exhibition hall where exhibitions of masters of Sharbakti district in visual and applied arts, exhibitions of personal collections are held.

The activity of the museum was recognized by diplomas and certificates of the Department of Culture of Pavlodar region, the Small Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. In 2014, the Sharbakti Museum was awarded the title of "State Enterprise of the Year 2014" by the National Business Rating Union.
