Description

Dated to the 3rd-2nd centuries BCE. Dark in color, the walls of the cauldron curve outward, and it is cast in a convex shape. On the sides, there are round, arched handles set at a slight angle. A solid circular line left from the casting process is visible on the upper part of the handles.

The diameter of the cauldron is 41 cm, the height is 29 cm, and the thickness is 0.8-1 cm. The bronze cauldron was accidentally discovered in 1960 near the village of Koktuma in the Alakol district, where the medieval city of Gagan was once located.
