Mother’s Medal, II degree

Description

The medal has the shape of a regular circle. On the front side of the medal, there is an image of a mother’s profile chest and a child. In the upper left part of the medal, there is a prominent star with scattered rays. Surrounding the medal is a narrow laurel wreath. At the bottom of the medal, there is a ribbon with the inscription “USSR”. All the images and inscriptions on the medal are prominent. On the outer side of the medal, there is an image of a hammer and sickle in the center, with the inscription “medallion” in the upper part and the inscription “ana” in the lower part.
