Mother’s Medal, II degree

Description

The medal is shaped like a perfect circle. On the front side of the medal, there is an image of the profile of a mother and child. In the upper left part of the medal, there will be a protruding star with scattered rays. Surrounding the medal is a narrow laurel wreath. At the bottom of the medal, there is a ribbon with the inscription “USSR.” All images and inscriptions on the medal are raised. On the outer side of the medal, in the center, there is an image of a hammer and sickle, with the word “medallion” inscribed along the top circumference, and the word “Ana” inscribed along the bottom circumference.
