Description
A letter from E. P. Kopanitskaya, a resident of Poltava, Ukrainian SSR, to Akyk Nurmanbetov and Dauitali Serikov. The letter was prompted by an article titled “In the Village of Shubar,” published in the newspaper Pravda, which mentioned Pavel Kopanitsky, one of the founders of the collective farm and an experienced farmer. Kopanitskaya believes he may have been her brother, who left Poltava in 1938. She asks for information about his fate and biography.
