Positive Character Reference for Comrade Stupakov from the Komsomol Organization of the Taldy-Kurgan District
On the night of April 19-20, 1957, tractor driver of the machine-melioration unit of the collective farm named after Stalin and member of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Komsomol), Ivan Petrovich Stupakov, while driving a S-80 tractor from his workplace to the tractor station in conditions of darkness, collided with a cart harnessed to a donkey. As a result of the accident, the person who was in the cart sustained injuries incompatible with life and died.
The local Komsomol organization speaks in defense of I. P. Stupakov, describing him as a conscientious worker and the recipient of several state medals. Considering his impeccable work record and positive personal qualities, we kindly request that the possibility of mitigating his punishment be considered.
