Description
The kerosene lamp has a metal base and is blackish-gray in color. It is a classic tabletop model.
The base (foot) is wide, circular, and stable, flaring outward toward the bottom. Its surface is decorated with stepped relief lines. A slender vertical central column connects the base to the kerosene reservoir. Mounted above the column is a round fuel reservoir with a thick outer rim. The middle section of the reservoir shows scratches, scuffs, and signs of wear resulting from long-term use. A metal burner is mounted on the top of the reservoir. It features a small round adjusting knob (thumb screw) used to raise and lower the wick as needed. At the top is a crown-shaped metal gallery with pierced edges that supports and holds the glass chimney in place.
