Coin of the Turgesh Khaganate

Description

The coin is round with a square hole in the center. The edge of the coin has a convex edge. There is also a border around the central hole. The obverse side is a circular Sogdian legend, executed in italics, counterclockwise. The legend consists of 4 words “Vuu twrkys ü´ü´n pny” “Lord Türgeshsky Kagan”. The reverse side is a Turkic stamp inscribed in the field of a coin between a thick linear rim and a square hole, the square hole is highlighted by a rhombus, as part of the stamp.
