On the inner side of the cover, there is an inscription in Kazakh: “Ш.Уәлиханов атындағы музейге естелік Көкшетаулық делегация 6.XІ.2010” with a handwritten signature.The book is published in Russian. This encyclopedia is the first attempt to gather and systematize all currently available information about the life and work of the great scholar, educator, and democrat Chokan Valikhanov.
